Where Physical Computing Education Comes Together

micro:bit Live USA South 2026 brings together educators, district leaders, researchers, and partners committed to expanding meaningful computer science learning through physical computing. Through hands-on sessions, practitioner-led workshops, and collaborative discussions, participants explore how the micro:bit can support accessible and impactful CS learning across a wide range of educational contexts.

Code/Art’s professional development workshops teach K-12 teachers how to incorporate creative coding lessons into their curriculum. The workshop is open to all K-12 teachers and requires no previous coding experience.

Included with the PD is full access to all teaching materials—lesson plans, video tutorials, slides, and grading rubrics—as well as information on how your female students can submit to Code/Art’s national CodeYourSelf™ competition.

Sphero and Plano ISD are bringing together district and school leaders, principals, and grades 3-12 educators in CTE, technology, engineering, STEM, and STEAM for a free day of hands-on professional learning.

Discover practical ways to bring engineering, robotics, and real-world problem-solving into the classroom. You'll explore Blueprint Snap, Blueprint Engineering, and Blueprint Robotics, along with TEKS-aligned lesson resources, ready-to-use classroom strategies, and opportunities to connect with fellow educators. Attendees will also earn 6 professional development hours.
